Safe and Friendly Environment
Today one of the biggest concerns for parents in allowing their children to leverage the vast knowledge and learning opportunities offered by the internet is security. They don't want communication with unwelcome strangers; they don't want site access or reading material they believe to be offensive. Lessons and Tutors have taken immense measures to provide a safe and enjoyable place for your student to learn. Many early 3D internet offerings utilize technology platforms with open communities to build their applications. Lessons and Tutors is 100% owned 3D technology from top to bottom, meaning that only our clients have access to any part of our 3D internet environment. All of our clients have to register and before they can participate in any activity, they must provide personal information including credit card or PayPal service which helps us keep unwanted registrations in check. This is one of the reasons we do not offer FREE services. When we want to promote an offering we will always place a nominal charge of $1, or we will make it a locked module where students cannot interact with others. This discourages unwanted or automated clients from signing in to our environment.
Please see our Terms of Use to make sure you are comfortable with the fact that we do not distribute personal information of any kind to a third party. Financial information is not stored in our systems. Your credit card purchases are one time transactions, and you must securely complete your transaction each time. We use PayPal for direct payment, as well as for credit card processing. Pay Pal is often the payment of choice for students, especially younger students where all activity is managed by parents or guardians. We also use PalPal for a credit card processing as they are a safe and secure processor used by thousands of small businesses in North America. Our goals are the same as yours, to provide a safe and enjoyable place for students to learn.
*Note: We provide 2 free lessons with each new account. These are the only free services for members, and we ensure that the lessons can be utilized by a single user with a single instance of the lesson. There is no opportunity for any other users to interact with a student completing one of the free lessons.
